If I could be anywhere I’d want to go Home, to Heaven, and I’d like to sit a while and talk to my grandfather, but mostly so I could worship my Father.
When you were a kid, did you have an idea that you might want to do what you’re doing now?Â
Not at all. I wanted to be a vet. Never would I have dreamed I’d want to be a teacher.
What was your best out-of-class or off-campus study experience?
I had to opportunity to go to Ireland on a scholarship this spring to visit many of their gardens. It was my first international adventure and I had a blast!
What was the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?
I don’t eat weird food, I eat good food and my Nana taught me not to eat something if I sure couldn’t say it.
What’s the hardest adjustment you’ve had to make coming to Auburn?
Studying a lot harder to keep good grades.
What has been the most fun you’ve had on campus, and why?
My Small Trees class was pretty great. I not only learned a lot, but also got a lot of exercise and met some really cool people.
What has been your most memorable experience at Auburn so far?
Being part of a school that makes winning National Championships look easy, nothing too extraordinary or anything.
